Karuizawa is a beautiful nature and traditional summer resort. And one hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen. It feels also good to go by car. Standing in this town KARUIZAWA is the Hiroshi Senju Art Museum, a very stylish building. This architecture was created by Ryue Nishizawa, one of the SAANA architects who built the internationally renowned Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Towada Art Museum.Concrete floor, glass, and white walls undulating according to the landscape.It’s stylish, simple and minimal. It’s a good idea to leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and breathe the air of nature.
